Landmark Hospital of Joplin offers exceptional care for medically complex patients who require long-term hospitalization, typically lasting 25 days or more. Our hospital specializes in ventilator and tracheostomy weaning, complex wound care, nephrology and hemodialysis, infectious diseases, and critical care interventions. We also have our team in our Landmark Acute Rehabilitation Unit that provides the best of every scope of service to ensure our patients return to their highest quality of life in their community. Our experience, skills, and services include Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, ACLS-certified critical care nurses, ACLS-certified respiratory therapists, Wound Care Specialists, Dialysis Nurses, Dietitians, In-house pharmacists, and Multi-Specialty Physicians.
Each of our 28 rooms is private, complete with its own toilet and shower. With nursing and respiratory therapy teams available 24 hours a day, we also offer robust rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as high-intensity rehabilitation programs.
